The meeting was commenced by Dato’ Shukri, President of AMCC, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the Chamber’s role as a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering business ties between Asia and the Middle East, particularly the Arab region. AMCC’s key achievements and signature services were highlighted, including its status as a government-authorized body for issuing Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (NPCO), facilitating business consultations, and maintaining strong relations with Arab embassies in Malaysia.

H.E. the Ambassador expressed appreciation for AMCC’s initiatives and shared insights on Egypt’s promising sectors and potential areas for collaboration. Drawing on his diplomatic experience, H.E. emphasized his commitment to supporting efforts that strengthen bilateral trade and investment.

The meeting also featured contributions from AMCC’s Board of Directors, who actively participated by sharing their global project experiences and exploring strategies for joint initiatives. Mr. Haytham, Head of the Commercial Office, provided further insights on successful projects and highlighted critical factors for ensuring business success.

H.E. welcomed open dialogue and assured his support in addressing any challenges. The meeting concluded with enthusiasm from both parties to collaborate on an upcoming event aimed at positioning Egypt as a dynamic business hub and guiding companies toward new opportunities.
